I was looking for some subjects to photograph along the trail with the sun illuminating those subjects when I came upon this Kentucky coffee tree being backlit with an orange glow from the morning sun
Fortunately
A few hairy wood mint plants can be seen near or underneath peachleaf willow trees on the west side of Wildflower Park during late spring and into mid summer
The South Fork Kishwaukee River meanders slowly through the park as it picks up the reflections of its surroundings at Wildflower Park
WHISPERS OF THE WINTER CREEK Size:10x15 METAL PRINT (645-1389)After receiving 2 3 inches of snow during the morning hours, I set out to photograph this recent snowfall along Eakin Creek West on this Sunday afternoon. The temperature was in the mid 20's with a mild wind of 5 8 mph. It was mostly overcast with some sun breaks. The soft lighting during this time made for some nice images of the box elder trees and their reflections onto Eakin Creek West. (685 3442)
