Georgian Coral Bead Necklace lost heirlooms when they were given toStriking Georgian coral necklace dating from the early 1800s. Bright, warm and joyful, the coral beads are strung to form three large spheres hung on a three dimensional beaded 'chain'. Their colour is a vivid reddish orange and they almost certainly originate from the bay of Naples. Coral was everywhere during the Georgian Regency period, just take a look at portraits from the era (indeed, even through to the Pre Raphaelites later in the century).
