Disaster Response Team

The Disaster Response Team is our rapid-deployment volunteer corps — trained to mobilize within hours of an earthquake, flood, or other emergency to help set up shelter points, distribute emergency supplies, and support search-and-assistance efforts alongside professional responders.

Because this role can mean travel on short notice and physically demanding conditions, applicants complete a training weekend covering first aid basics, site safety, and how our response teams coordinate before being added to the on-call roster. It’s a serious commitment, and one of the most directly impactful ways to help.
